See you at Singapore Yacht Show 2014

Only 1 week left to Asia’s premier boating and luxury lifestyle showcase, Singapore Yacht Show, that is returning to ONE°15 Marina Club in Sentosa Cove on April 10-13 2014 for its fourth year, promising the strongest ever on-water display of small boats and luxury vessels of the whole range.

Princess Yachts South East Asia will be the show’s traditional participant with 7 stunning boats on display this year: Princess 88, Princess 72, Princess 60, Princess 56, Princess 52, Princess 43, and Princess V39 Sports Cruiser. PMYA Asia’s Managing Director Robert Hawkins will be working at Princess stand and ready to offer his professional services of training and boat delivery to the boat owners from all parts of South East Asia. Feel free to come and meet Robert, or contact him by email or phone +65 831 969 44!

According to organizers, the show has developed significantly for the past four years, almost doubling in size every year, and a high number of boats have been sold – especially last year. Public opinion seems to consider the Singapore show to be the most important industry event in Asia, just like Ford Lauderdale is the leading show in the US, and the ones in Monaco and Cannes are the must-see events in Europe.

The show’s dramatic growth is a reflection of Singapore’s position as the third highest city in the world for multi-millionaire residents. And the appetite for pieces of luxury has never been stronger in Singapore – more than 11,000 unique visitors registered at Singapore Yacht Show 2013, with more than 70 vessels (22 over 20 meters) and 2513 м2 of exhibition space on display representing 100 luxury brands. Visitors to the 2014 event can also expect to see displays of fine art, modern supercars, classic cars and elite property at the same enjoying a holiday atmosphere of the Quay side with all the bars and restaurants.

Talking about this year’s expectations, the organizers wish to strengthen its positions as the leading yacht and boat show in Asia. Andy Treadwell, managing director of the show’s organizer company said: “We want to see even bigger numbers of even more targeted visitors coming to the show ready to buy and charter. We want to see everybody going away with more business and even more enthusiasm about the potential business here, because Asia is all about the potential. You have to remember that part of the reason that the yachting market is so small here is because it has just never been in the culture, and it started from nothing just a few years ago. But this is changing at a rate of knots and that is why the industry has certainly a large part of its hope pinned on Asia.”
